Sharn Freier is a dynamic footballer known for her resilience and tenacity. From a young age, she exhibited a passion for football, setting her sights on reaching the highest levels. Signing with Brisbane Roar in 2020 was a significant milestone, marked by the thrill of scoring her first goal. However, her momentum was halted by a major knee injury the following season, sidelining her for an extended period. Despite this setback, Sharn's unwavering determination and positive mindset fueled her recovery.
During her recovery, Sharn faced numerous challenges, both physical and mental. She adhered to a rigorous rehabilitation program, supported by a dedicated team of medical professionals and her own relentless drive. Her preparation for return included intense physical training and mental conditioning. In the recent season, Sharn proved her prowess by contributing significantly to Brisbane Roar's attack, with three goals and five assists. Her hard work paid off when she received a call-up to the CommBank Matildas, a dream come true for Sharn. Reflecting on her journey, Sharn remains focused on her future goals, aiming to continue her growth and make a lasting impact in the world of football.
